Question:

Can you recommend some good veggie plants that are easy to grow in pots? I don't have a yard, but have a patio to put them on.

Answer:

You're in luck because most vegetables, herbs and flowers can be grown in pots. Typically you need to get at least six hours of sun per day. Pick plants suited to your sun exposure and climate. For example we have grown tomatoes, peppers, basil, and dwarf sunflowers in pots. Pay special attention to watering your potted plants, as they will dry out quicker than vegetables planted in the ground. Have fun and let your imagination soar with the possibilities of different combinations of your new patio garden.
