Question:

Is frozen or canned produce more or less healthy than fresh produce in terms of nutrients, additives, pesticides, etc?

Answer:

Fresh is best. Way better. But if you can't get fresh, frozen would be next best then canned. Any of the above are infinitely better than processed foods, candy bars, fast foods etc.

When my husband is in a jam he'll grab a bag of frozen peas and corn in the frozen section of a super market. Then he'll find some hot water at a convenience store and pour the peas in the hot water. A minute later he's got a meal.

Read the labels on the canned and frozen. Watch added salt and preservatives. As far as nutrients frozen probably has less than fresh and canned a little less than frozen.
