Although this book is more than just a cookbook, I've got to start off by saying, this is one helluva cookbook! I'm not sure you'd ever get the chance to make every recipe in this book. Talk about variety, this book covers everything. This is a list from the Table of Contents, just to show you exactly what you'll get when you buy it.

The only thing this book is missing is pictures [Editor's note: we've been told a newer edition does have pics. If we get a copy to review we'll update to let you know]. The people at Gentle World did a fantastic job on this book, leaving no stone unturned. This is a great book to own yourself or to give to family members as a gift. Steve and I have been making recipes from this book for a few months now and they're all fantastic. I believe there's enough recipes in here to satisfy anyone's restrictions and preferences.

I also love the fact that there are quotes on virtually every page of the book. They are both thoughtful and inspiring and written by members of the vegan movement from today and hundreds of years ago.

Needless to say, I give this book my highest recommendation. You won't be bored, in fact, you'll be thrilled. If you love variety, this is the book for you.
