My sister-in-law and her 15 month old son are vegetarian and have gluten allergies. She used to be vegan, but do to a stressed schedule and family conflict, has decided to eat dairy and eggs again. Do know of any quick, vegan, gluten free recipes that keep well and still taste good? I know it's asking a lot, but I would love to send her some premade food to encourage her to go back to veganism. Thanks!

Vegan Family Favorites has dozens of gluten-free recipes and was tested by real vegan families to make sure the kids would like the recipes too. Some good ones you may want to try or recommend to her include: Mary's Gluten Free Muffins, Bear's Gluten Free Linguine, Vegetable Pasta Salad using rice or lentil pasta, Herbed Quinoa, Rainbow Confetti Rice, Simple Tomato Risotto, Tex-Mex Tofu, and Best Banana Cake.

You may also want to check out The Food Allergy Survival Guide by Vesanto Melina, Dina Aronson, and Jo Stepaniak. That book includes some information on allergies that she may find useful.
