I would love to find a vegan/vegetarian pediatrician in my area. Do you have a resource that could help me find one? What about a homeopathic physician? -- Melissa

I am often asked how to find a vegan pediatrician. Unfortunately there is no directory I can refer people to. My best advice is to ask your veggie friends who they use. Or, contact the local vegetarian society and see if they have a local resource guide for you. Ask around. Often an open-minded pediatrician is just fine and accepting of the vegan lifestyle. Just keep trying until you find one you like, or interview them if they will spend the time to allow you to do that.

As for homeopathic physicians, I would guess they would be more open to your non-mainstream lifestyle. Just remember that with a homeopathic physician, you will get homeopathic advice. If you're comfortable with that form of treatment, I think it's a great option for you. Good luck!
