Are allergy shots vegan?

I had them from a DO specializing in asthma and allergies in NYC and they were vegan. I checked - no albumin, no animal products. Although, now that you mention it, one of them contained stuff for cats and I never asked what that was.........HM..........

I ended up calling the doctor and he said the allergen stuff is mixed with phenol, which my husband says is vegan, so I guess I'm okay. I'm always wary of shots. By the way, what is Follow Your Heart cheese? Is it good?
