I have a splitting headache and really dont feel like talking to the operators.. so was wondering if any of you have had the opportunity to call and see if the Hunt's Manwich original sloppy joe sauce is vegan or not. It lists natural flavors..but as we all know....<sigh> natural flavors can mean animal bi-products.
I have a couple of cans left in the cupboard and would like to use it if it doesnt contain animal bi-products.
thanks!

I've never researched that product. You'll probably have to ask the company directly. Let us know what you find out.

I use a vegan barbeque sauce to make my sloppy joes,
just pour about a cup tvp, 2 cups water and half bottle and simmer, also to make it better, saute some onions and bell peppers in olive oil and throw in , simmer for at least thirty minutes, add more water if needed. and walla even better than sloppy joe sauce, and no preservatives. which we all like :)
also use some sprouted what hamburger buns if you can find them, they make it even better.

I had a few cans left in my cupboards as well and decided to call and ask. Onlyu problem was that there was no number or internet address on it. I had to use yahoo to find conagra and then make two long distance calls just to get and eight hundred number and then found out that yes, it is vegan. The woman said that the natural flavors were spices.:D
