ok, i know this isnt going to win any health awards, but it is the yummiest meal ever. i usually eat it with tomato slices and sprouts.
vegan mac and cheese
1 packages macaroni or other pasta
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup flour
3 cups boiling water
2 tsps garlic powder
2 tsps salt
pinch tumeric (opt)
1/4 cup oil
1 cup nutritonal yeast
paprika (opt)
1. boil pasta according to directions
2. melt margarine in pan and add flour, stir unitl mixed
3. add boiling water
4. add garlic, salt, tumeric, oil and yeast, stir until mixed. (its best to add the yeast a little at a time)
5. when the pasta is done, drain and add the sauce to the pasta, and sprinkle the paprika on top.
6. cook in the oven at 350 fro fifteen minutes, and broil for five more.
i got this recipe from somewhere in internetland, so i cant claim credit, but it is awesome, i promise.
