Hi, I've been vegetarian for 26 years and have just now decided to transition to veganism. I got the lists of companies that test on animals from Peta and have written to them all to let them know I'll boycot them until they stop animal testing. This has meant that many of the things I previously bought from Costco not realizing their parent companies tested on animals are now off limits but I was wondering if anyone knows if Kirkland Signatures Brand are OK to buy, eg: their paper products, obviously food items I'll have to read labels. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Actually, I think I'll piggyback onto this thread to ask another question about paper towels. I've been using Brawny, which is not made by an animal-testing company, but by a big lumber company--I sort of rationalize it as a lesser-of-two-evils thing, but, really, who am I kidding? I will not buy anything made by P&G, obviously, but I can't stand Seventh Generation paper towels (and my husband threatens to mutiny every time I buy them--and he does a significant portion of the cooking and cleaning, so I don't want to discount him). So, if anyone knows of a vegan-friendly brand that is also soft and absorbent, I'm all ears.
