I donated blood today for the first time as a vegan! Before I was l/o. I was worried about donating because the last time I couldn't fill my bag past half way. I was upset that the blood was wasted.
Well... my iron had to be tested because it was a little higher than normal! The woman said I have very "desirable iron rich" blood.
I filled the bag in record time- 9 minutes! It would take me 15-20 before. My blood pressure was even low, 94/68.
I'm very happy about it :D
