View Full Version : Is MSM vegan??

I am seriously looking into getting some MSM for joint and muscle aches my dh and I have been having (arthritis and fibromyalgia). Im just unsure if it is vegan or not.
Any ideas? Thoughts? Suggestions??

Good question!!! LOL..I have no idea what it is...other than its some suppliment that is big in the news now..that is said to be helpful with the aches and pains of arthritis, fibromyalgia, shin splints..etc. I have been told its a mineral compound of some sort (I honestly dont know). :(

When I went vegan a lot of my joint pains went away completely, including some really bad carpal tunnel syndrome. How long have you been vegan? Maybe it will take some time but maybe it will go away on its own.

Ive been vegan for 3 years now. Im sure its fibromyalgia. I have some of the symptoms. :rolleyes:
But oh well.. Everybody has to have something to complain about..lol..and if a few aches and pains are all I have to gripe about..Im doin pretty good :-)

Here is some info on MSM for those who may be interested :-) :

MSM, Methylsulfonylmethane, is a naturally occurring nutrient found in plants, meats, dairy products, fruits, and vegetables. MSM is therefore found in the normal human diet.
