Activities for 16month old

Hey!

I was wondering if anyone knew of a dance class for babies, or any other activities geared to toddlers. My son loves dancing and i remember seeing an ad in the paper for a dance class but i can't find it anywhere! We live in Lehigh Valley PA.

I would call some local dance studios and see if they offer any classes for a 16 month old. Most dance studios don't begin classes until 3 years old, but you may find a studio that does offer a class. Look for classes called Creative Movement, Kinderdance or something of the sort. You could also check out the local YMCA or YWCA, as they often have classes for little ones.

My daughter is the exact same since about 16-months (she's 18-months now) so we pop in the Riverdance video almost daily and she just dances along. I plan on picking up some more different types of dance videos like a ballet, tap, african dances etc. so she has variety. My son (also 18-months) just started dancing but he prefers more low-brown stuff like Winnie the Pooh to dance to :D We do plan on enrolling her in dance class when she turns 3, I don't think she'd get much out of it before then since she probably wouldn't have the patience to actually do prescribed moves.

You could try Music Together. My son is 17 months and he's been attending for three seasons now. He likes it a lot. They have lots of locations in PA.
