Playgroups?

Does anyone know what happened to the link for the Playgroups?

We removed the playgroups for a wide variety of reasons. We're sorry for any inconvenience.

I'm planning to open forums based on areas so that parents can communicate with those in their local community. That should hopefully serve the purpose the Playgroups feature did. :)

I set out to place the groups today but got hung on areas for each subforum. So I'm asking for input. :)

What would be the best placement?

A subforum for each state (and country, as requested)
A group of two or three states for each subforum
Regional areas - such as Midwest, East Coast, Southeast, etc.

I think each state would be fine. Would there be a chance for someone to require a subforum for a particular county within a state?

It would probably be more reasonable to title the thread with the name of the county rather than place subforums for counties within each state's forum.

I think we will do states. Seems like the easiest and most organized way to set it up. :)

I don't think we should call them "playgroups" though. Surely some of our members are or have children who are beyond the "play" stage. Any forum title ideas?
