Here's something you should try at home. I found it funny, yet at the same time disappointing.

Type the word "Vegan" and run a spell check on it...

I have tried this on many different applications and even on my Yahoo e-mail... nothing.

It's seems rather foolish that vegan is a word that "doesn't exist" yet in our spell check software.

Please prove me wrong and said that someone has the brains to include the word "vegan" in their software spell check.

Regards,

Eric

Hi Eric,

You're right. The word 'vegan' is not supposed to be a valid English term if we're to believe MS Word's dictionary. BUT the thesaurus provides alternative words for "vegan"!! Try it. You'll get vegetarian & lacto-vegetarian (not very accurate, but it's a start!).

Wouldn't it be funny if "Vegan" according to the dictionary meant: "Person or persons who refrain from eating meat, but may eat honey, chicken, fish, and other non-meat foods. "

LOL

Sadly, I can see this... :(

LOL! Oh really, that *was* funny, but only because a vegan said it!

Honestly, if a meat-eater were to utter such nonsense (or write such nonsense in a dictionary), I'd think that he was seriously in need of a brain transplant. Too much meat might have clogged up the walnut in his skull :D

Of course, a chicken is not an animal. It's a bird. Meat only comes from animals, doesn't it?

Yeah, somebody actually said that to me! And I called her a dumb Muggle and walked away. Hail Harry Potter (wish he was a vegetarian!) :D
