Well just joined the site and must say good recipes and what not makes you actually feel normal for once. A little about myself I'm a 18 yr old vegan guy who lives in jersey so yeah they consider me an alien here when i tell them I'm vegan, Most have no idea what it is anyway. So yeah that's me so Hi to all and keep rocking as vegans!!!

yah, I know how you feel. Actually, I just joined today. I live in Kansas, and there's pretty much the same attitude of vegans here. But I have met some nice veg people. The secret is getting out and about.

I understand aswell |: the other day I bought some food and this woman was raising her eyebrows at me and she asked if I ate meat and after I'd told her I'm a vegan..she rolled her eyes and told me "I could never give up my pork scratchings".
So it's nice to see some people giving a positive attitude towards veganism - such as this board =)
