Artificial Butter Flavor?

What exactly is artificial butter flavor? I bought a shaker of Jolly Time Buttery Seasoning today and it has it in there. I've tried looking up online and cannot get anything definitive. Does anyone know for sure what it is? Thanks a bunch to anyone who can help.

i would find jolly time's 800 number and ask them.
or, since you are in the US, i think its now the law that manufacturers list certain allergens on the label. ie, if there was milk in there or processed in a factory that uses milk, it would say "may contain milk products" under the ingredients list. if it does say that, then its not necessarily a guarantee that milk was used as an ingredient. so i would then call the company to be on the safe side.
