I've been to Toronto. I have an internship coming up in Ottawa. Does that count for anything? I want to be in the club!

Sounds fine to me! Be sure to check out the Green Door in Ottawa - a veggie restaurant. Their T=tofu stir fry is yummy! And they make some decent vegan desserts, too! (My mother lives in Ottawa.)

Thank you for the Ottawa tip. I'm freaked out enough over just going there, and when I realized I'd have to find all new health food stores and everything, I almost had a nervous breakdown. I'm just a tiny bit nervous! I think it will be okay, though. I'm actually from the U.S. Does that mean I'm out of the club again?

I live in Ottawa. My boyfriend is from toronto and I have been there several times. Can I join the club too? LOL

The more the merrier! Ottawa is a great place. We consider moving. We have family there, none in Toronto.

I guess we are becoming an Ontario Club! :)

Hi! I used to live in Toronto, I was born and raised there, but we moved east out of the city almost four years ago. Our parents and other family still live there and we are in the T-Dot-O ( :D ) often. Does that count? LOL!

I *know* there are other vegans in TO. We see them when we eat out at our favourite vegetarian restuarants. They just don't come here. And we haven't met any other vegan parents. :( But at least I can come here!
