Hi -

I'm new here and I have a question. Does anyone else use gDiapers? We've been using them for awhile and are very happy with the flushable liners. However, most times if we have a poopy diaper the liner gets dirty and has to be washed out. I don't mind so much, but DH gets very annoyed at it. Does anyone else have this problem, and if so, what do you do about it? How do you handle dirty liners when you are out - do you wash them in other people's sinks, or just bag them for later washing?

TIA,

Janet

we dont use gdiapers, but we cloth diaper and when there is a big poop the diaper cover always gets dirty -
i bring a ziplock bag with me to keep dirty covers in while we are out. if we are at my moms house or someone i know very well (like family) i will rinse the cover in their laundry sink... but usually i just bag it and wash it when we get back home!
i dont know about gDiapers, but i say bringing along a ziplock in your diaper bag to transport poop-covered items is always a good idea.

I use the gDiaper covers for my cloth diapers. I used up the flushables for travel. I buy at least 2 packs that's 4 diaper covers and use all four all the time, especially when we travel. Sometimes I'm only left with one clean one, but 4 is usually enough. Yes, they do get dirty, I put them in the bag when we are out and wash them at home. They're wonderful because they allow for air movement, we haven't had a diaper rash yet. One thing I wish was different is the velcro - bad thing for night diapering, it wakes up the baby.:o

the new gpants have much better velcro! it is softer and quieter. The pants also fit better. I looooove gdiapers. I haven't had an issue with the poop. My son has a knack for having massive pees. We get a good amount of leaks, but that has nothing to do with the diapers. He just has a large bladder. ;)

I just got two of the new gdiapers. They sure are nicer and do fit better. My cloth diapers fit right in. I notice that they don't have the other lining sewn in like the previous ones. It doesn't make them more leaky, there is even more air flow though.
