world breastfeeding week

i've just registered to join the 2007 breastfeeding challenge on September 29 which "celebrates women who choose to breastfeed their children. the challenge is for the record for the most children breastfeeding simultaneously..."

i'm strangely ridiculously excited about this and a little apprehensive as the baby is a toddler going on a preschooler.

*sigh* I'll join in in spirit. My wee man weaned at 17 months with the most minute amount of encouragement from me i.e. cutting out the bedtime feed because he didn't suck, just chewed. Makes me so broody when I see anything about breast feeding; I think I need another baby who will hopefully choose to wean at oh, 4 years old ;)

I hope to have a long breastfeeding relationship with all of my children as well :) And considering my son is nearly 12mths old, is still exclusively breastfed, and we don't intend to ttc the next baby for another year, I think we're well on our way to achieving that! :D
