I know we are all aware of the B12 issue here -- but thought people might like to read the article as non-vegans may bring it up with you if you are raising a baby...

That is sad. I have read that it is only the daily intake of B12 that becomes available in breast milk, not the mother's body stores. I've been sure to get lots of B12 all along - during pregnancy and now since I'm still nursing. I know we are all aware of the B12 issue, but I don't think we all necessarily know that, when nursing, you have to be sure to have an adequate amount every day or baby won't be getting any.

There is always something new to learn!
