Just wondering how you all find a sense of community being vegan. There are no vegan playgroups where i live although i have thought of putting an ad out in a local paper.

I feel very lucky living where I do... Seattle, WA. I'm still a minority, but have found quite a few like-minded people, groups, etc in the area. You may want to start your own group?
Best wishes to you...I know it can be very difficult at times. Just continue doing what you believe in and in time, some of your friends and family may follow...especially if they see how healthy and happy you are. Lead by example.

I don't have vegan friends, but alot of vegetarian friends. There are a few vegan restraunts in my area...infact there is one a block away, and they know me and my son by name:) They actually offered to bring me food while I was bed ridden from my c-section when Kai was born. They are wonderful people! It's also nice knowing that I can pick up good wholesome food when I don't feel like cooking!
