I don't think vegan white chocolate exists. At least, I have never found any and I know of a famous vegan baker who has been looking for white chocolate, and believe me, if she cant' find it, it doesn't exist!
That said... a good vegan chocolate... Have you tried the candy bars from Tropical Source? I love those. Not gourmet, but great for a sweet tooth.
You can get some good vegan chocolates from Chocolate Decadence. www.chocolatedecadence.com.
And Pangea sells truffles and things. www.veganstore.com.

Hi Shelley,
Fisher Chef's Naturals makes a 'white almond bark' that's supposed to taste just like white chocolate. I've heard that if you mix it with bittersweet chocolate, you'll end up with vegan milk chocolate! It should be available Walmart and other major stores - look for it!
The good news is, you can make your own white chocolate! Chef Deb on Vegsource has a recipe that looks really yummy. You could experiment with it, if you like!
Chef Deb's vegan white chocolate
1/2 cup cocoa butter (food-grade only!)
1/3 cup natural sugar
1/3 cup soymilk powder
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp powdered soy lecithin (granules ground to powder OK)
1 tsp vanilla powder
Mix water, soymilk powder, and sugar in the top pan of a double boiler.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is melted.
Turn off heat.
Mix in cocoa butter, stirring until blended.
Mix in lecithin, stirring until blended.
Mix in vanilla powder, stirring until thoroughly blended.
Pour onto a greased plate.
Let cool completely.
Break into pieces.
Store in ziplock bags.
Keep refrigerated.

Hi Shelley,
I haven't tried making it (I can't get soymilk powder here), but Chef Deborah is well-known for her tasty culinary creations, so I expect the recipe should be good.
Regards,
Rebecca
