So I wanted to post this in the general thread and I guess it does relate to veganism since it has to do with two vegans but! I want to tell you guys a story...
Well, around this time last year in 2007, I came to this forum just to talk to new vegans and went into the veg teen zone without knowing that my life would really change forever.
This thread (http://www.vegfamily.com/forums/showthread.php?t=107) started it all.
I saw M5Giora's message and I was like cool, there's this nice vegan girl that wants to meet other vegans like me! lol well it really was a boy and around my age. We started talking and at first I thought he was a girl for like a week but then I found out he was actually a guy and kept talking and talking and we started liking each other and well long story short, he lived in Israel, I live in Orange County, CA and we decided to meet before he went into the Israeli army!
It was like as if everything was meant to happen. We found out he had an uncle that lived literally TEN minutes away from me..basically a few streets away where he could stay at and everything seemed to go our way even when it was looking bad. Well we've been in a 10 month old relationship now and we spent 3 wonderful months together here while he worked with an Israeli company. He's in Israel right now but we plan to see each other next year and hopefully everything goes well and I go to Israel but this has been the experience of a lifetime!
I really don't care if anybody comments but I just want to thank whoever made this forum because it completely changed my life in a totally different direction, one I wouldn't have even imagined in my wildest dreams, and I also want to thank cute_n_naturally even if she never reads this because she pretty much made all of this happen lol.
I love my boyfriend!
