Well so far my new habit of taking care of myself is going well. I spend so much time stressing at work and doing thing for others, that I always put myself last, so to put myself first feels different. Today after work I just went for a long walk and relaxed at home with a favorite movie. I tried not to stress about work and journaled my thoughts to get the stress out of my head.

Journaling is great! I encourage my kids to journal. I think it helps them get their feelings out and on paper and creates a sort of release for them.

Thanks again for the strength to continue with the cheer. I find journaling helps me stay organized and destress. It is a great way to relax to face another day.

I'm happy to hear both your challenges are going well!!
This afternoon the kids and I played "dance club" in my oldest son's room. He was the dj and the baby was the air guitarest.
