I bought some Neutrogena Instant Bronze self-tanner/bronzer today (they don't test on animals but do use some animal ingredients, and I couldn't tell just by reading the label if the ingredients were vegan, so I bought it and then called the 800# and found out none of their self-tanning products are vegan! arrgh! So I just said I would return it and buy another brand, and encouraged them to look into non-animal ingredients. Does anyone know of a high-quality but not too expensive cruelty-free self-tanner? I prefer foam or lotion but spray would also be fine as long as it applies evenly! Thanks in advance-

I looked around, but I didn't see anything. My suggestion would be to use a bronzing powder, which I'm sure you could find vegan.
Or, if all else fails, and skin cancer doesn't run in your family, go out in the sun, you'll be getting vitamin D anyway.

i was in bath and body works a couple weeks ago for their big semi-annual sale. i did see some tanning stuff. i dont know if it was a regular product or if it was something corporate sent them just for the sale.

this is from bbw faq on their website:
What is your policy regarding animal testing?
We believe all living creatures deserve respect and would never think of testing any of our products on animals. Likewise, we don't ask anyone who may be helping us develop or make our products to conduct these kinds of tests on our behalf.
here's their corporate phone number:Bath & Body Works 1-800-395-1001
also try the body shop. i havent been there in ages, but its worth a shot.
