Last week I bought a ttub of hummus from my local store made by Atenos in the mediterranean/greek flavor. I have discovered that I am not at all fond of the strong garlic and oregano flavor but definitely do not want to waste this expensive tub of delicasy. Does anyone have any ideas about what I can put them in so that they will be at least a bit more tasty? I have been just eating them as a sandwich spread. Thanks for any help!

I don't like that brand either. I love Cedarlane's roasted red pepper hummus. I put that on lots of things. :)

Maybe you could dilute it with an unflavored hummus or just some mashed up garbanzoes and tahini, lemon, etc. I like hummus with falafel on a pita, but I guess that that is a sandwich, too.

Bring it back to the store you bought it at. They should take it back even if you don't have a reciept. then you can try a new kind. I always bring back expensive veggie stuff if I don't like it b/c I am on a tight budget and it gives the store better feedback about the foods they are selling.
