There are some natural sodas on the market that we drink when we're in the mood for soda, though truth be told we don't drink much soda in this house. I believe the brand we drink is the Whole Foods 365 brand, but don't quote me.
There's also organic cola at Trader Joe's that's really delicious. They've got organic root beer too.
As for coke being vegan... I think it is technically. Isn't it made with high fructose corn syrup? Is there actually sugar in it?

Seltzer is awesome and healthier than most other sodas.

Yeah, baby. You better believe it. Or you could get the flavored kind, if you want.

Knudsen's -- you can get them in Kroger's that have a health food section -- and probably lots of other places. They are good!

Diet coke is vegan. I forgot about seven up, but check the ingredients. If it doesn't say sugar, it's vegan.

I stay away from diet drinks..Ive heard from sources that the "fake " sugars they use ..turn into a type of Formaldehyde (sp?) when consumed and processed by the body.

One more warning about drinking sodas, vegan or not. The phosphoric acid they use is very poisonous to the body, creating a ph balance problem in the blood. It's one of the most acid producing things a person can consume. The high acid promotes a host of illnesses.
This info was from a book by Dr. Robert Young and I'm paraphrasing, but there ya go.

Be careful of diet soda, as said before...Fresca, I don't think is a diet soda, but still contains Aspartame...aweful stuff.
