Second question........
Who is providing your prenatal care and how did you decide on this person?

An OBGYN?
A lay midwife?
A Certified Nurse Midwife?
A General Practictioner?
No one?
A high risk Dr?

I am seeing a lay midwife because here in UT it is very hard to find a CNM to do homebirth they are at the hospitals under dr supervision. I really like my midwife. I feel very empowered around her. She is also very knowledgable about childbirth and prenatal development.

We're going with an OB who is very into natural childbirth. Took a long time to find him though. He's an advocate of gentle childbirthing, and says "It's the patient whose needs come first. Not mine, not the hospital, etc."

I'm going to have this child in the hospital. Probably unlike most people, I actually like the hospital. I get to spend 48 hours being waited on hand and foot. Someone is going to bring me my meals and I won't have to do any housework. All I have to do is lie in bed, feed and bond with my new baby, eat and shower. Who would want to go home? ;)

I see my family Dr. through out my pregnancy as well as an OB for the last two months. I have been going to my family Dr. since I was born (he delivered me) and he has been seeing my parents before then. I am very happy with him. I will be giving birth in the hospital.
