Hi. My daughter is 10 months old and has been vegan since birth. She is on solids now, but she is in a food rut! She eats the same things every day and when I try to give her something new, she cries and refuses to eat. I want to make sure she's getting all the vitamins and nutrients she needs and don't know what else to feed her. The only veggies she likes are peas, corn and sweet potatoes. She also eats soy yogurt, all fruits, quinoa pasta with "cheezy" sauce and sometimes veggie burger. She also drinks soy formula and fruit juice. Any suggestions on how to get her to eat different foods and which ones? Thanks!

from what I have read and from my own experience, it can take a child several times(up to ten even) before they can like something. With my daughter when introducing new foods I feed her it with water, she loves water, so when she opens her mouth for the water I slip her a spoonful of whatever after a few times of that she realizes just because its different it isn't so bad and she eats it up. Also you may have better luck letting her self feed for now. My dd loves silken tofu, she may mush it up a little sometimes but eventually she will eat it all. Hope maybe this info is of some use to you.

At that age my daughter also loved to self feed avocado and lentils, she still does at 13 months.
I gave her homemade nutmilk for EFA variety. She didn't like applesauce when she was very young but now she loves it with carrot/beet juice or a little blanched spinach mixed in.
There's a lot of ideas on former threads as well.
