I was just wondering if anyone here loves the book Eat To Live by Dr. Joel Fuhrman as much as I do!?!? This guy is a natural hygienist--almost-vegan, but mainly because his book needs to appeal to the masses--he holds unwaveringly that all animal source foods/processed foods are bad, and that a healthful diet should be vegetable-based--NOT grain-based. He has fathoms of scientific research and studies to back him up, and he makes so much sense. For example, why do people crave high-calorie/high-fat food?? Because in a natural environment, food would be scarce and natural selection would urge us to go for the most calories with the least amount of effort. Check out his website for more info: www.drfuhrman.com
Sorry if this sounds like an ad or something, but I feel as if I've just been handed the holy grail of nutritional knowledge!! =)

I'm doing the Eat to Live plan and really enjoying it. I feel healthy and I've lost some weight. (3 on his plan so far in a week or so, but 20 total)

I do like the premise so I hope it holds water for me. I have plenty of weight to lose and lots to do to get healthy!
