I'm sorry if this has come up before and I just can't find the post (in which case it would be great if someone could direct me to it!)

My husband and I were just doing a thorough check of items we've been buying for years and either hadn't inspected the ingredients in a while or somehow neglected to check in the first place...and we discovered that our vitamins (which we love very much) contain D3. *sigh*

So my question is...do any of you have a recommendation for a comprehensive multi-vitamin without St Johnswort (preferably no herbs at all actually, just vitamins and minerals) and without iron? I have a very negative physical reaction to taking iron supplements and my husband obviously doesn't need them either, being male. I would prefer if the vitamin is whole foods based, but I'm all ears for whatever suggestions you folks have.

Thanks!

The only vitamins I know personally are from Kid Bear. www.kidbear.com. Check em out. They are for kids but adults can take them too. Gummi bear style, yum.

I use Solgar's Omnium Iron-free multi-vitamins. They're vegan. No D3. What's wrong with vitamin D3?

D3 is derived from sheep. D2 is plant derived. It's a small distinction but an important one, you know?

Rainbow light is really good, and has an iron-free multi vitamin. Another one is Dr. Natura's, which you can get from gifam.com.
