I have two boys a 21 month old and a 2 month old and both are not vaccinated,We chose not to vaccinate them,and here in Canada we do not have to get them vaccinated if we do not want them to.What advice can you moms who chose not to vaccinate your children give me.Is homeopath a good way of going if any disease should arise.

Homeopathy is a wonderful way to treat childhood illnesses. In some cases, a regular MD can treat the illness if your child gets something.
Most of the stuff they vaccinate for is not all that serious except in rare cases, and many of them really would need time home to rest- chicken pox, measles, mumps, rubella....
I have heard of some people who's naturepaths have some sort of natural vaccine for some of this stuff. I haven't used it, so I don' t know much about it, but it may be worth asking your ND.

Go get the book called "How to raise a healthy child in spite of your doctor" by Mendohlson--it talks at length about vaccinations and especially the diseases that vaccinations are supposed to prevent. Tells you the common symptoms, how to recognize them and what kind of treatment they need. Most don't even need to be taken in to see a dr! It's a great book to ease your mind =) I haven't heard of a homeopathic vaccine, but I have heard of a homeopathic vaccine DETOXER--it's called Thuja 6X. HTH!

Another thing would be to breastfeed them as long as possible. A child's immune system doesn't mature until around age 7, so the longer they receive the antibodies from mother's milk, the better!

My son has never been vaccinated and nor will this next child I carry. I have always looked to homeopathy to treat him but fortunately not had to use it very much. I recomend homeopathy, as it treats the individually holistically.

I stand by my informed choice not to have my children vaccinated as I certainly think the cons out wieght the pros.
