When I went vegetarian at the age of 12-13, I knew it was a smart thing to do, but little did I know it was genius ;)

I think that is so true. I just don't understand why other people aren't conscious of what we're conscious of, especially those that have been shown where their meat comes from, or crazier yet vegetarians that go back to eating animals. Really, what's that about?

I was just talking about vegetarians that go back the other day with someone we both couldn't understand that. I use to think that vegetarians were almost worse than meat eaters because they see the light, they get it they just aren't willing to give it a full effort. These days I don't have so much judgment because everyone has a path that brings them to who they are and apparently they might not be mentally evolved enough to walk down the path I'm going.

I've recently had some exposure to a group called the Canadian Coalition for Farm Animals. It's an organization that is trying to get better laws for the treatment of farmed animals, which in Canada are practically non-existant. At first they bugged me because I thought that they should be putting all of their efforts into getting the world to go vegan. Now I understand their efforts to get laws in placed that at least recognized farmed animals as being beings that need protection by the law. I realize that some people need a law in place to act humanely, and that, sadly, is just the way of world. As a woman I can see how putting laws in placed helped with the changing of society's view of me. Still, the world need to go vegan - like now, please and thank you.
