Where can you order vegan prenatal vitamins off the internet? I can't find any in our health food stores in the area!

There are probably a lot more sites out there, but here are a couple that I know of (I haven't used the Freeda prenatal formula, but I use their multivitamin):
www.freedavitamins.com has a range of vegan prenatal vitamins (you can also buy them from www.differentdaisy.com)
www.veganessentials.com sells Prenatal 1-A-Day vegan multi-vitamins
Hope that helps!

I think I've seen them on www.vegetarianvitamin.com, too.

The Prenatal Superior supplement on www.vegetarianvitamin.com contains D3, so you may want to call the company and check if the product is suitable for vegans - it's possible that the D3 could be from plants or fungi, but it's much more likely that it's from lanolin (from sheep) or fish oil. In every case that I've seen, D3 (cholecalciferol) has been from animal sources. Vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol) is typically what vegans look for in soy milk, supplements, fortified cereals, etc, because it's always derived from plant (yeast) sources.
Just one more note on this:
I've read in some places that D3 *could* be from plant sources (but that it's usually not), and in others that D3 is always from animal sources. I'm not really sure of the finer points of this, but I always assume that D3 is animal-derived and I avoid it altogether.
Hi,
We use Solgar Prenatal vitamins. Try solgar.com Although you can't buy vitamins on line, you can search internationally, (as you didn't list where you live)

D3 can be from plant sources, but is usually from animal sources.
I use Nature's Plus Prenatal (http://www.naturesplus.com/products/supp_detail.asp?criteria=search&searchVar=prenatal&productNumber=3091).
The beginning of my first pregnancy I wasn't able to find any vegan prenatals. I took about 10 vitamins seperately. Which was okay, except for the huge calcium tablets. They would make me throw everything back up. I was so very, very happy when I located vegan prenatals. :)

I use the ones from Vegan Essentials and love them! I pill, no extra stuff to take. i did have to break them in half during the first trimester as they're a little large and I had trouble getting them down, but now it's not an issue. I also enjoy ordering them from Vegan Essentials since I'm already buying vitamins I can order myself a yummy treat too - like a donut or something else - and not feel bad because I AM ordering vitamins ;)
