i want filling up

hi, keep slipping and going back to vegerterianism lately, its because i seem to feel hungry all the time. i wondered if there was any good meal replacement bars and protein vegan bars that would be suitable when i have to eat on the run

my favourite meal is millet porridge at the moment. yum and millet is so good for you right. also bean salads (although i have tinned in water beans) and soya latte from the coffee shop

Carli, how about some homemade vegan trail mix for snacking on the go? We use nuts, dried fruits, coconut, sometimes even vegan chocolate chips! Almond butter tortillas are also an easy thing to pack and eat on the run. Sometimes we'll stick a jar of natural nut butter in a cooler and bring along some rice cakes (or bread - sorry I'm thinking in gluten-free mode!) and make sandwiches on the spot. Salads are also great to make ahead and bring in a small cooler (but not so filling unless you add things like avacado, nuts, dried fruit, etc - yum!).

Sounds like you need to boost your proteins. Nuts, beans, peanut butter, tofu...

the Clif bars and the Luna bars are pretty good, also I am loving smoothies in a to go mug with a homemade muffin (full of fiber, not the cake-y kind). That keeps me full until lunch. You can make both of those in advance. Also, you can buy hummus ready made and it travels well, just throw some pitas in your bag (the more fiber, the longer it fills you up) and you can dip them, no utensils required!
The key to being full is eating lots of fiber, which also helps you lose weight because you eat less and feel more full. Good luck!

Organic Vegan Food Bars! They are so good and so filling. It's basically almond butter, date paste, agave nectar, sesame seeds, flax sprouts, quinoa sprouts and raisins. They are gluten free, soy free and obviously vegan. They have something like 14 grams of protein per bar and a ton of healthy fats. They are cold pressed and unprecessed so they're very healthful. We buy them by the case. Our favorites are chocolate chip and original. Just watch out- there's the vegan food bar and the food bar which is almost the same, but it does have honey.
