My ds recently changed schools. His new grade one teacher is fantastic. When we first told her that Aiden was a vegan she was very welcoming and open-minded. She also joked that "the other kids will have no idea what that is"! Too true. Haha.
Today she called to say that the class was making cookies as part of their science lesson and asked if I would bring in some egg replacer so that she could make vegan cookies for the whole class. WHAT!?!?!? I know!!! I love her.

That's really good to hear and I am sure the kids won't know the difference. Plus they can eat the dough without getting sick. One of the advantages about cooking without eggs!
So I guess it is no homeschooling since you've switched schools and this one is much better than the last.
i still want to homeschool! we're going to do a trial run over the summer. if all goes well then we will leave the eeevil public school system come September.
