I know this may be a dumb question, but I am curious as to why vegans do not consume white sugar? If someone could fill me in on this, I would appreciate it. I have been a vegan (or so I thought) for about 13 years, and I never knew that strict vegans do not consume products with white sugar. Thank you!
Just wanted to welcome you Marybeth!! I just joined and have been enjoying the posts immensely. I see you own a small gym--good for you--i wish i worked out more as i eat well but exercise has not been there enough. I have 2 small boys and it is hard to find the time even though i am a stay at home mom i do get on my treadmill sometimes and coming from a karate background have a good history, but the last 2 yrs esp. have seen fewer situps then since i was 17!!!
