Hello everyone, man im exhausted this morning... but all went ok... i made more food than what was needed but oh well now i dont have to cook for a week...lol...

my non vegan pro meat father tried hummous for the 1st time and liked it.. everyone of course loved my vegan cookies... and its funny cuz the 1st things the kids started to eat was the veggies and hummous dip.... they hardly went near the tortilla chips and salsa but munched down alot of veggies... so im happy... so all in all went good.... im exhausted from cooking and cleaning and decorating and running the party.... man next year im hiring someone to help....lol....

i have officially hosted my 1st vegan party and now happy it went over sooo easy.... next feat is xmas eve with a bunch of omnis and pro meat people.... yuck meat... i cant stand the sight or smell of it anymore.... at least xmas day i get to be in my nice animal cruelty free home....lol...

Glad to hear it went well. We just had Lily's preschool Xmas party and there were loads of things she could eat- cookies, muffins, chips, pretzels, fruit, vegies, nuts etc, it was GREAT! A coupl eof people had made yummy vegan stuff without being asked to or anything, I always feel such LOVE for people! who do that

I just went through this myself. What it came down to was, it's my daughter's day. She does not eat meat or dairy, so meat or dairy will not be served. Everyone loved the food (exept the mother in law, who microwaved herself a ham and cheese chimichanga, and the brother in law, who made himself a ham and cheese with mayo on white bread sandwich) But, everyone else- 30 people- loved it! Even the meat eaters where thankful that I provided such healthy food for their children, making it easier for the parents later ( no junk food crash to deal with later!)
