Question:

Which vegan foods are highest in folic acid? I want to get pregnant soon and I'm told I should boost my intake a bit.

Answer:

The foods richest in folic acid are green leafy vegetables, nuts and seeds. Enjoying a handful of nut-and-raisin mix containing English walnuts, almonds, raisins, and pumpkin seeds - is a good way to get folic acid as well as needed magnesium, omega 3 fats, and other important nutrients.
