There seems to be so much misinformation about B12 and I really want to make sure my vegan baby is getting enough B12. Should I take a supplement while breastfeeding? Should I take it sublingually in a spray or lozenge?

Answer:

Yes! B-12 stores in the mother's liver are not available to the nursing infant. Both modes of administration are effective.
