Mom's Best Naturals Breakfast Cereals

Moms Best Naturals Breakfast Cereals I usually steer clear of foods that are trying to imitate the tried and true cereals on the market because they often do a "fair-to-middlin," as my grandma would say, job of being as good as the leading brands. But I must admit, Mom's Best has come up with a selection of breakfast cereals that are not only good for you, they are right up there with the rest of the cereal gang in taste.

We tried three different brands of Mom's—Raisin Bran, Toasty O's, and Toasted Wheatfuls—and found them all to be delightful. A bit of agave syrup adds the desired sweetness my children want (harking back to their sugary sweet cereal loving days) and that, coupled with the nutritional superiorness of Mom's Best over the leading brands, makes me happy.

My father is a shredded wheat eater. He is also blind. So one morning, without telling him, I served him a bowl of Mom's Best Shredded Wheat instead of the usual well-known brand he always eats. Without a pause he ate the entire bowl.

The company has been family owned and operated for four generations and their policies are made with a promise to make choices that "benefit families, enhance our communities and sustain the environment." As well, 100% of the electricity consumed by their cereal production is from renewable energy resources.
