I absolutely love Primal Spirit’s new Primal Strips line! These jerky-like "meat alternative" snacks are perfect for a protein boost or to throw in your bag as you travel. They would be perfect for long car/plane/train rides where you never know if there will be suitable vegan fare.

Primal Strips are available in many different flavors, so you are sure to find one (or many) that you like. The three lines are seitan, soy and shitake mushroom. My very favorite is the soy hickory smoked flavor, but I also really liked the seitan thai peanut. These snacks are full of flavor and have a great, satisfying texture.
