Rapunzel Pure Organics has been in business since 1974. They obviously know what they're doing! They have a wide product line that includes chocolate, coffee, juice, soup, sugar, seasonings and snacks! That means you've got some great choices.

The Rapunzel chocolate bars are bittersweet. Up front I have to tell you that I dislike bittersweet chocolate, so I didn't enjoy eating these chocolates. However, I didn't want my bias to affect the review of what is probably a good chocolate, so I brought in back-up: My husband (Steve), sister-in-law (Christine), and friend (Todd).

Here's what they had to say...
Steve (vegan): "I really enjoyed the chocolates. At first they were too bitter for me, but the taste grew on me until I was really enjoying them a lot and looking forward to having one each day."

Christine (a carnivore): "Hey, these are pretty good. This is vegan? Party on! You guys got some cool stuff to eat. I'd eat these and not even know they were vegan."

Todd (vegetarian and a chocolate connoisseur): "I love them. This is the real thing. This is how chocolate is supposed to taste, not like the stuff you get at See's or Hershey."

So there you have it, three other opinions. I haven't tried the rest of the product line yet, but I've heard wonderful things about them and am looking forward to trying their cocoa and sugar products.
