Vegan or vegetarian birth stories are welcome.Robin Jenning's Birth StoriesHello all! This is the stories of my 2 little ones. Both were born at home (with a Midwife). My son was born after 12 hours of "back labor". He was born on a Wenseday at 4:25pm. My daughter was a different story! Around 7:30am I passed the "mucus plug", I had very light contractions that felt less painful than menstrual cramps. This went on, so I walked, etc. My midwife said I couldn't be in labor, I was not in enough "pain". I remember laughing with my Husband and son between contractions, which were 5 minutes apart. Article continues below At 2pm the contractions got further apart. No one thought I was in labor, not even me! Isn't this supposed to hurt? At 4pm my water broke, I went to the restroom while my Husband called our Midwife. I went straight into transition! Right there on the bathroom floor! I panted and tried not to push. I asked my Husband to check for the baby. She was already almost crowning, and I hadn't pushed more the two times! She was born at 4:21PM, the Midwife arrived 10 minutes after her! Thank God she was fine and healthy. She met the rest of the family after that. I think homebirth is wonderful! |
