Why Did You Go Vegan?AndrewI became Vegan about two months ago. I used to be one of those meat-crazed people before, and I was pretty much raised to be that way. I used to love red meat, but I never really stopped to think that my food was once a living, breathing animal. The first and foremost reason why I became a Vegan is ethics. I mean the one tenet in my religion (im Wiccan by the way) is that you "harm none"; and I thought "How am I not harming when I eat animals?". So for a while I would try not to eat meat as much, and even tried to get out of cooking steak one day, when before i would have jumped at the opportunity. I used to drink milk like there was no tomorrow when I was younger and like 3 years ago I stopped drinking milk and I pretty much had to be forced to drink it because I hated the taste. Article continues belowDespite much criticism at first from family, I stuck with it and I have never felt better in my life (In coordination with exercise; I lost 20lbs so far).
