Why Did You Go Vegan?GaeaI became a vegetarian in 95'. I became vegan after meeting a vegan family last year and explaing the only reason why I wasnt vegan yet was because of Haagen Daz and cheese. Needless to say they got me on the right track to the vegan way of life for myself and my four children. As a child I hated milk and eggs but didn't have a choice then. I always hated touching meat and would say I had no business eating something I couldn't touch. Not only is harm being done to animals by eating them. But we also poison our own bodies slowly by eating the flesh of another living creature. The major diseases that this society profits from is caused by the improper treatment of our bodies. Eating un-naturally all of our lives causes cancers, colds, sinus problems and all sorts of other un-natural body disorders. I recommend to anyone who was once a consumer of any animals products do a colon cleasing 2-4 times a year "naturally" with the lemonade cleanse. Check into it a book called the "Master Cleanse". It really works. Take it from me a person who was a sickly child with chronic bronchitis, sore throats, sinus problems I had a cold almost every month. We have been vegan for a year now and not one of use has been sick. Vegan diet, positive attitude, natural herbs is my cure all which I will recommend to anyone. My family thinks I'm nuts they seem to have this belief that if you take flesh out of your diet there is nothing left. Well I know better and now we live better.Read more stories If you found the information in this article helpful, please leave a donation for VegFamily or share it with others. |
