Why Did You Go Vegan?

The minute I saw the pictures of baby male chicks dumped in a garbage can to die, I knew I would never be able to eat eggs from a grocery store again. Then came the oversized udders on the poor dairy cows. How cruel! I had been a lacto ovo vegetarian for almost a year, but will now go vegan.

I just never knew how poorly the factory farm animals were treated. I believe if more people were aware of how bad it really is they would go vegan also! I'm on day five and it's going well.I don't miss the milk and eggs, just the cheese. I'm going to try and find a dairy free product to help me throught it though. I feel I'm truly making a difference now--I see the world in a whole new light.
